Screened investment opportunities (financial analysis). Conducted several due diligence and valuation process as well as sensibility tests. Set up business plans and follow-up of the validation process. Requested debt financing and supervised withdrawals (D/E).

Nov. 2004 – Mar. 2007: Loan Officer in Société Générale (Casablanca, Morocco)

Screened tourism-related investments (loans executed in 2006 totaled $100m). Negotiated contracts with clients. Maintained accurate and comprehensive contracts database for over 100 clients. Handled Corporate & Investment Banking, M&A, LBO, strategic consulting…

Dec. 1999 – Oct. 2004: Investment Analyst in the Ministry of Tourism (Rabat, Morocco)

Negotiated partnership agreements with key European Tour Opertaors (TUI, Globalia, LTU, FCG) and with investors willing to invest more than $25m for public subsidies.  Assisted the « writing committee » of the «Vision 2010» framework agreement. Managed efficiently the process for selecting an investment bank to provide assistance to the Ministry in the «Azur Plan» (backbone of Vision 2010). The investment bank fees were part of a World Bank Loan.
